Minimum Requirements 
Qualification(s): 
•  BSc/N6 Mechanical Engineering and a Project management qualification 
•  Managerial Qualification 

Experience: 
•  At least 5 years relevant post qualification experience  
•  3 Years’ Managerial experience Turbo Generator experience on Power Station 

Skills and Competencies 
Skills: 
•  Computer literate in MS Office, Windows and Ms Project 
•  Contract negotiation, preparation and management, including negotiate and co-ordinate 
•  Change with all parties 
•  Foster and maintain sound Customer and inter departmental relationship 
•  Continuous control and project of ISO 9000 Quality system 

Knowledge: 
•  Carry out special project according to the mandate given by the project sponsor 
•  Ensure sound financial control and submit year End and monthly financial forecast ,on sale, cost and profits 
•  Ensure project specific and high level capacity planning scheduling 
•  Ensure compliance to the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Construction regulation and SHE 

Attributes: 
•  Above average interpersonal, communication and managerial skills with strong customer 
•  Sound technical background with  strong project management and organisation skills

•  Continuous Improvement :Ensure that your administration Document is current ,and includes your SHEQ objectives 
•  Ensure that all legal appointment are valid and in place for your area of control 
•  SHE Compliance: As a section 8 & 9 appointee ,you are to ensure that the duties of the employer contemplated in the Occupational  Health Act 85 of 1993 are properly discharged and all legal appointments are valid and in place for your area of control 
•  Reduce Rework: Measure and report vs. Revenue for your department on a monthly basis and ensure you reduce rework to less than 0.5% of your turnover. 
•  ISO and OHSA Certification: Ensure that all activities are carried out as per the documented processes and comply with the requirements of ISO and OHSA certificate 
•  Audit Rating: Maintain and audit score of less than 2 and receive no major audit findings
